The idea for this came about when Dorau and two friends were working on a map of Lübeck and exploring its untold stories away from the usual attractions. Dorau became fascinated with portraying a city from the perspective of an unbiased tourist, visitor and outsider.

„Hear The Voices“ is the first single of the new solo album „Fluoreszent“ by Cologne based artist Hans Nieswandt. Recorded in 2024 in Seoul, „Hear The Voices“ is a shiny vehicle taking you to wondrous places - Cruising through Hinterland / In my little supercar. Expect a journey from Kraut to Goth, Synth Wave to Art Pop, Cosmic via Comic - and all the way to the end of the rainbow. The album will be out March 28th 2025.

“Emanation” is the second single from the forthcoming Die Wilde Jagd album, Lux Tenera - A Rite To Joy, created in collaboration with The Metropole Orkest and commissioned by the Roadburn Fest.

Wie viele Songs gibt es über den Sommer? Eine kurze Internet-Recherche ergibt 13.354. Und über den Winter? Da spuckt das Netz kaum was aus. Wie schade, das muss sich ändern! Andreas Dorau ist ein großer Fan dieser mäßig populären Jahreszeit, weshalb er pünktlich zum kalendarischen Winteranfang am 22.12. eine neue Single aus seinem kommenden Album „Im Gebüsch“ (VÖ: 19.1.24) namens „Mein Englischer Winter“ veröffentlicht.

Gutes Timing, da wird es Klicks schneien wie Flocken, die Streamkurve aber wird sich aufbauen wie eine Schneewehe im fernen Lapp- bzw. England. Und wer bis dato mit dem Winter noch nicht viel anfangen konnte, wird sich spätestens nach dem Genuss von diesem erhabenen Track auch für die kalte Jahreszeit erwärmen.

"Ich bin nicht ich" – ein weiterer Track aus dem kommenden Album "Im Gebüsch" von Andreas Dorau (VÖ: 19.1.24). Ein ebenso minimalistisches wie surrealistisches Meisterwerk. Ihr kennt doch dieses Bild, auf welchem Salvador Dali seinen Ameisenbären spazieren führt? Hätte es damals schon Smartphones gegeben mit Musik drauf, also der Dali hätte diesen Track auf Endlosschleife gehört, wenn er mit seinem Ameisenbären durch Montparnasse spaziert. Und der Bär auch. Und ihr jetzt auch.

Andreas Dorau beruhigt uns: Alles nicht so wichtig, das ist nur Musik. Gar nicht so leicht, wenn er so einen Song raushaut.

Die Song ist auf dem kommenden Album "Im Gebüsch", das am 19. Januar 2024 (an Doraus 60stem Geburtstag) erscheint.

Der Song ist Stroboskop am helllichten Tag, erinnert an die tolle französische und belgische Electro-Acts der frühen 80er. Warum denn Weidenallee? Arbeitstitel war Champs Élysées, aber den Songtitel gab‘s wohl schon. „Nehme ich halt die Weidenallee, dachte sich der Flaneur und Tonkünstler. Hört rein, geht raus und lasst es euch schmecken.
